The national finals of the First WPS Office Digital Application Innovation Competition of the 2025-2026 Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition successfully concluded in Handan, Hebei Province on May 30.
With exquisite practical operation capabilities, outstanding human-computer collaborative AI application capabilities and prominent innovative thinking, teachers and students from our college won 1 first prize and 3 second prizes.
Among them, Zhou Zixuan claimed the first prize in the student group, and Zhang Jiale won the second prize in the student group. Two teams respectively led by Han Cheng, Yu Mengzhu and Wang Lina, and Wang Zhaohui, Gao Dawei and Zhang Xinyue secured second prizes in the teacher group. Teachers Tu Zhen and Wang Lina were awarded the title of Excellent Instructors.

Additionally, our college was honored with the Best Organization Award and Excellent Organization Award, fully demonstrating our college’s teaching strength and talent cultivation achievements in the field of digital office applications.
Hosted by the China Council of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development International Alliance, and the Belt and Road & BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Training Center, and co-organized by the China Invention Association and the Center for Foreign Language Education and Cultural Exchange of the Ministry of Education, the competition focuses on cutting-edge digital office applications.
It covers a comprehensive skill matrix including full-module WPS operation, information system design, intelligent innovative application of WPS AI and creative presentation. Nearly 1,000 contestants from more than 200 colleges and universities across 23 provinces nationwide participated in the competition.
The college attached great importance to the competition and made solid preparations. With professional tutoring, intensive training and repeated simulation drills, participants performed steadily and excellently in the final, winning high praise from the professional jury.
This outstanding achievement is a vivid practice and important fruit of our college’s teaching philosophy of promoting teaching, learning and educational reform through competitions.
Our college will continue to focus on the cultivation of digital skilled talents, optimize the curriculum system, strengthen practical teaching, strive to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents adaptable to the development of digital economy, and empower the high-quality development of vocational education.
