During the 2026 Shandong Week in Hong Kong and Macao, after signing cooperation agreements at the symposium, Diao Hongbin led the delegation to pay visits to multiple world-class hotels in Hong Kong. The group held in-depth talks with senior management and forums with students working and interning locally. Senior executives from renowned hotels attended the exchanges.
Inauguration of the First School-Enterprise Base in Hong Kong

On the afternoon of May 19, officials from SkyCity Marriott Hong Kong warmly received the delegation. A solemn unveiling ceremony was held, marking the official establishment of the college’s first internship and employment base in Hong Kong.

Diao Hongbin and hotel management unveiled the plaque together. Afterwards, Diao communicated with more than ten interns and employed graduates. Wang Han shared her great progress in foreign language proficiency and interpersonal skills. Diao praised the students and encouraged them to broaden international horizons through cross-cultural teamwork.

Hotel officials spoke highly of the students’ competent performance. They expressed willingness to deepen cooperation in talent cultivation and practical training. Consensus was reached on joint training and project construction.
Satisfying Performance Recognized by Sheraton Hotels
On May 20, the delegation visited Sheraton Tung Chung Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Tung Chung. Hotel executives were greatly impressed by students’ outstanding capabilities beyond expectations. They promised to offer more internship vacancies and targeted training posts.

Diao acknowledged the enterprises’ care and training support. Both sides discussed comprehensive cooperation modes covering joint education and talent assessment. Student representatives talked about their progress in differentiated service skills. Diao encouraged students to uphold vocational education spirits and bring back valuable international experience. The delegation also inspected hotel facilities and students’ living quarters.

Mandarin Oriental Proposes Long-term Cooperation
On May 20, the delegation visited the time-honored Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. The hotel affirmed students’ solid professional skills and fine professionalism, proposing to sign long-term internship agreements at an early date.

Diao stated that cooperation with the world-famous brand testified the college’s high-quality education and would expand training platforms. Both parties agreed to accelerate cooperation implementation. The group inspected hotel operations and reached agreements on follow-up collaboration.

The delegation also exchanged views with executives from Shangri-La Group, reaching consensus on career development paths and collaborative education mechanisms.
The visits helped the college grasp updated talent demands and international service standards, and learn about students’ growth status.
