The event kicked off in Hong Kong on May 19. As the only vocational college invited, the college signed the sole school-enterprise cooperation agreement witnessed by representatives from Shandong, Hong Kong and Macao.
A symposium on deepening integrated development of talents, science, education and industries was held concurrently. Over 150 attendees included government officials, university researchers, industrial representatives and young scholars.
The college conducted extensive exchanges with local authorities, universities and enterprises. Several prestigious universities delivered speeches. Shandong promoted higher education resources, while Jinan and Qingdao released talent recruitment posts. Nine cooperation projects were signed in total.
Diao Hongbin signed an agreement with Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel to build an internship and employment base for students, drawing wide attention.
In an interview, Diao stated that the prosperous cultural tourism and hotel industries in Hong Kong and Macao match the college’s dominant majors perfectly, with fruitful cooperation achieved in internships and employment.
The college gains wide recognition by striving for world-class tourism vocational education and cultivating high-skilled talents to meet local industrial demands.
The symposium builds a solid platform for regional integration. The college’s outstanding performance stems from in-depth industry-education integration and optimized majors catering to industrial upgrading.
Going forward, the college will keep improving talent training quality to boost regional industrial cooperation.
