Recently, the 2026 Inzone Lobster Carnival, themed “Hundred Stores Compete, Enjoy Lobster Feast for the City” and hosted by the Supermarket Business Division of Lushang Inzone Group, successfully concluded.

Invited to the event, the college’s faculty and student team provided on-site culinary technology and operational support. Their exquisite products were hugely popular among citizens and tourists, with over 1,000 Kgs of crayfish products made and sold on a single day. The school-enterprise collaboration presented a splendid crayfish feast for the public.

The main venue of the carnival was located at Inzone Shopping Plaza Quancheng Square Store in Jinan. Centering on authentic southern-style Qianjiang crayfish, the event created an immersive scene where ten chefs cooked simultaneously in ten woks, with well-organized functional zones for live crayfish display, on-site cooking demonstration and free tasting.

Sub-venues across the province launched synchronized activities with the main venue. A total of 100 stores conducted live-streaming campaigns, achieving integrated online and offline promotion. During the event, a student team led by Yin Dong, a teacher from the School of Culinary Arts, was stationed at the main venue throughout the carnival, undertaking core tasks including culinary technical guidance, on-site food production, promotion and sales services.

The team strictly followed standard operating procedures (SOP) for spicy crayfish and garlic crayfish, integrating the college’s professional culinary techniques. Every procedure, from crayfish cleaning and oil temperature control to ingredient proportioning and heat regulation during stir-frying, was precisely controlled and standardized.

Meanwhile, teachers and students actively engaged in tasting guidance and customer interaction, applying professional culinary skills and food safety knowledge learned in classrooms to real commercial practice and verifying their professional capabilities in authentic industrial scenarios.

During the event, the college team helped sell more than 1,000 Kgs of crayfish at the main venue, delivering solid technical and talent support for the Inzone Lobster Festival and fully demonstrating the outstanding professionalism and solid practical capabilities of the school’s teachers and students.

In recent years, backed by the integrated development of the education sector of Lushang Group, the college has adhered to the industry-education integration philosophy of “Enterprises set topics, colleges and enterprises jointly work out solutions, and the market evaluates the outcomes”. It has carried out in-depth collaboration with Inzone Group in multiple fields including online marketing, product research and development, pilot production and cultural construction.

The Lobster Carnival serves as another practical showcase of the college’s school-enterprise R&D team stepping out of the laboratory to accept market tests, as well as a concrete practice for the school to deepen vocational-general education integration, industry-education integration and science-education integration.

Both sides will continue to explore cooperation in formulating standardized plans for festival events and launching order-based training for culinary talents. The two parties will promote the closed-loop operation of the whole industry chain covering teaching, research, production and sales, empower students to grow and thrive in real industrial scenarios, and realize two-way empowerment and coordinated development of education and industry.
