On April 17, the Launch Ceremony of the First Qingdao Tourism Minsu Lifestyle Season & the Laisu Laoshan Minsu Brand Conference was held at the Liuqinghe Minsu (boutique countryside accommodation) Cluster.
The School of Hospitality Management of the college was invited to attend the event, signed framework cooperation agreements with relevant parties, and delivered thematic training for Minsu operators. This further deepened the all-round cooperative relationship between the college and the Laoshan Minsu Cluster, expanded a new platform for industry-education integration, and elevated the construction of off-campus internship and training bases to a new level.
Under the theme of Staying in Mountains and Seas · Qingdao Invites You, this event was hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Laoshan District, and organized by Laoshan Tourism Group.
At the event, the Qingdao Tourism Minsu Handbook, the Laisu Laoshan Minsu brand and the Laoshan Minsu Consumption Map were released, and the 2025 Shandong Provincial Grade A Tourism Minsu Awarding Ceremony was also held.
At the highly anticipated signing ceremony for eco-partners in the development of Qingdao's Minsu industry, the School of Hotel Management signed cooperation agreements with the operator of the Minsu cluster, key Minsu enterprises and Laoshan Tourism Group.
This marks that on the basis of establishing the Innovation Practice Base for Shazikou Provincial Minsu Cluster, the School of Hotel Management has added a number of high-quality off-campus training bases, providing richer and more diverse practical platforms for students majoring in Minsu management and operation.
Wang Guangjian, Vice Dean of the School of Hotel Management, was invited to conduct training for Minsu operators, focusing on core topics such as high-quality operation and management of rural tourism Minsus in Laoshan, integrated development of multi-formats in the industry, and improvement of brand recognition, helping Minsu operators enhance professionalism and polish their brands.
In 2025, the School of Hotel Management officially inaugurated the Innovation Practice Base for Shazikou Provincial Minsu Cluster. The signing and series of training sessions this time represent further deepening and upgrading of bilateral cooperation. The college and enterprises will carry out all-round cooperation around talent cultivation, co-construction of courses, sharing of teaching staff, project research and development, and social services.
Together, they will build an integrated education ecosystem of teaching-training-employment-entrepreneurship, make full use of Qingdao's unique mountain and sea resources and mature Minsu cluster advantages, move classrooms into real business scenarios, and truly achieve learning for practice and practice promoting learning.
