34 participants from the 5th and 7th sessions of the Zhejiang Distinguished Vocational School Principals Development Project visited the college for study and exchange on April 20. The project is hosted by Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology, while we undertake the training tasks in the Qingdao region.
All participants are Party secretaries and principals of vocational schools across Zhejiang Province, led by Sun Guoliang, Director of the Teacher Education Center, School of Vocational and Technical Education, Zhejiang University of Technology.
Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, delivered a special report to the participants.

Entitled Exploration and Practice of an Innovative Talent Training Model for Vocational Education Based on the Industry-Education Integration Concept of Enterprises Set Questions, School-Enterprise Joint Solutions, and Market Evaluates Results, Diao Hongbin’s report combined typical cases such as the transformation and upgrading of traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage cuisine to empower the catering industry. He elaborated on the industry-education integration philosophy of enterprises set questions, school-enterprise joint solutions, and market evaluates results, interpreted its implementation path, and addressed the questions of the times, changes in connotation, practical dilemmas, benchmarking priorities, and reflective paths facing vocational education. The report provided replicable and promotable reform experience for solving the problem of disconnection between industry and education, which aroused enthusiastic responses from all participants.
Afterwards, all participants visited on-campus training facilities including the Tourism Scene Big Data Engineering Technology Center, the National Demonstrative Smart Logistics Terminal Comprehensive Training Base, and the Comprehensive Culinary Training Center. They experienced the practical achievements of digital upgrading of majors and industry-education integration against the backdrop of artificial intelligence through immersive visits.
This training program has built a platform for learning and exchange between vocational education counterparts in Shandong and Zhejiang provinces, and showcased the QVTCHM experience in industry-education integration to the outside world.
The college will continue to summarize its achievements in industry-education integration and strive to strengthen and upgrade its vocational education teacher training brand.
