From March 16 to March 27, the college successfully held two national-level training programs under the Quality Improvement Plan for Teachers in Vocational Colleges of Inner Mongolia, namely Capacity Building for Curriculum Implementation in Finance, Economics and Business Majors (Higher Vocational) and Capacity Building for Curriculum Implementation in E-Commerce and Logistics Majors (Higher Vocational). A total of 76 teachers from higher vocational colleges across Inner Mongolia completed the 12-day training and successfully obtained their completion certificates.

Precise Demand-Oriented Training Goal Setting

The project team conducted a pre-training survey among participants to identify their needs in ideological and political education integration into courses, curriculum implementation capacity, industry-education integration models, and so on.

Well-designed training modules were provided, including interpretation of teachers’ ethics and educator spirit, national teaching standards for vocational education, implementation of ideological and political education in courses, research and application of modular teaching, organization and implementation of practical training, and teaching quality evaluation and improvement.

Participants acknowledged that the training content precisely matched their practical needs and spoke highly of the curriculum design, teaching team and training model.

Tiered Training & Team Collaboration for Efficient Management

The training was delivered in two phases in Inner Mongolia and Qingdao.

  • Phase 1: Localized learning at the Vocational and Technical      College of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.

  • Phase 2: Study tour in Qingdao to learn advanced experience      from Shandong’s vocational education sector.

A comprehensive service team and an operation management team, composed of the School of Continuing Education and the School of Business Administration, effectively ensured the smooth operation and support of the training base.

Distinguished Experts & Theory-Practice Integration for Effective Outcomes

Focused on improving curriculum implementation capacity, the training adopted diverse methods including special lectures, task-driven learning, on-site visits and hands-on workshops.

Distinguished experts and scholars were invited to deliver lectures, including:

  • Professor Diao Hongbin, Secretary of the college Party Committee

  • Professor Li Xinfa, Tianjin University of Technology and Education

  • Professor Liu Zheng’an, Shaanxi University of Science & Technology

  • Dr. Han Wei, Chinese Academy of Education Sciences

These lectures systematically broadened participants’ professional horizons, improved their knowledge structure and enhanced their professional development capabilities.

Mutual Development & Post-Training Follow-Up for Achievement Transformation

Centered on the goal of “strengthening post-training improvement and promoting achievement transformation”, the college will strengthen follow-up and support for participants, providing targeted post-training guidance featuring “co-construction and sharing of teaching projects, and joint development of majors (clusters)”.

By establishing an online interactive platform and a network-based study community, a long-term cooperation mechanism will be formed to promote co-construction and sharing of teaching projects, enabling participants to apply what they have learned to daily teaching practice.

This training fully demonstrated the college’s achievements in the construction of finance, economics and business majors and industry-education integration. It built a platform for exchanges and mutual development between vocational college teachers in Shandong and Inner Mongolia, effectively improving the teaching and practical capabilities of “dual-qualified” teachers.
