We launch series of visits and exchanges in Beijing

From March 18 to 19, the delegation led by college leaders conducted visits and exchanges with four organizations: Ziwei Meili Group (Lucai Cuisine), World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, China Education Association for International Exchange, and Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center.

During the visits, Diao Hongbin and Han Xiqing held in-depth discussions with the principals of each organization, reaching broad consensus on core topics including the export of vocational education standards, the cultivation of high-skilled talents, school-enterprise collaborative education, international cooperative school-running, and the development of vocational undergraduate education.

The principals of all organizations highly commended the college’s proactive efforts to align with the coordinated development of government, industry, university and enterprise, as well as its demand for international cooperative school-running. They fully affirmed the college’s educational strength, internationalization level and talent training quality, and expressed a positive willingness to further expand cooperation areas, deepen practical cooperation and achieve win-win development.

During the discussions, Diao Hongbin and Han Xiqing expressed gratitude to all organizations for their warm reception, and gave a detailed introduction to the college’s history, educational positioning, professional characteristics, as well as its practical exploration in industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation and international development.

Diao Hongbin stated that the college has always adhered to open education, serving national strategies and regional economic development. Guided by the industry-education integration philosophy of Enterprises set the tasks, schools and enterprises solve them together, and the market evaluates the results, the college has actively aligned with cutting-edge industry standards, served international industrial capacity cooperation, and made active explorations and remarkable achievements in the opening-up of vocational education and the cultivation of high-quality technical and skilled talents, providing a replicable model for the ecological development of vocational education.

Yang Jun, Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Education Association for International Exchange, noted that the current opening-up of vocational education is in an important period of strategic opportunity. He hoped the school would seize the opportunity to further expand its international cooperation network, play a greater role in the Going Global of Vocational Education, and enhance its international influence.

Song Kai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Nonferrous Metals Industry Talent Center, said that the center is willing to strengthen communication and cooperation with the college in international cooperative school-running, industry standard formulation, vocational undergraduate construction, and cluster cultivation of high-skilled talents, so as to jointly improve the school’s educational capacity.

Xing Ying, President of the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry, pointed out that the Federation will maximize the value of its industry platform within the scope of policy feasibility to support the school’s deepening reform and international development, and jointly promote the export and characteristic development of Chinese catering vocational education standards.

Wang Zhijie, Chairman of Ziwei Meili Group and Founder of Lucai Brand, emphasized that school-enterprise collaboration is an important measure to promote the in-depth integration of industry, college and research. He looked forward to multi-field and multi-level cooperation between the two sides to boost the high-end and high-quality development of the catering industry.

This series of visits and exchanges is an important move for the college to proactively align with national strategies, serve industrial development, deepen industry-education integration, expand international cooperation and improve educational quality. It has jointly established new cooperation mechanisms with all organizations, laying a solid foundation for the school’s high-quality development.

Taking this visit as an opportunity, the college will fully deepen practical cooperation with all organizations, plan high-level development at a higher starting point, and strive to compose a new chapter in the reform and development of vocational education.

During their stay in Beijing, Diao Hongbin, Han Xiqing and their entourage also visited employer partners, met with current interns and alumni, carefully inquired about their work, living conditions and career development plans, and encouraged them to continue serving as a bridge between the school and the industry, contributing youthful energy to the national economic and social development.
