On March 16, the 10th Alibaba Public Welfare List Awards Gala was held in Hangzhou. In the Cainiao Station Claim a Wish · Pack with Love national campus public welfare activity, the college stood out from more than 300 universities and institutions, ranking first nationwide in both the number of effectively claimed wishes and delivered parcels, with a total of 3,280 public welfare hours accumulated.
Initiated by Alibaba Public Welfare, the activity aims to build an online-offline integrated public welfare platform, calling on the public to fulfill the small wishes of children in remote areas and send them warmth and hope.
Taking the Smart Logistics Terminal Training Center as the platform, the college called on all teachers and students to donate idle supplies to poverty-stricken mountainous areas. During the activity, students enthusiastically donated idle books, stationery and sports equipment; teachers also responded positively, sorting and donating picture books and books at home, with a total of more than 10,000 donated items. The donated supplies have been sent to poverty-stricken mountainous areas one after another, supporting the growth of rural children with love.
This award is also a microcosm of the ten-year strategic cooperation between the college and Alibaba Cainiao Group.
Over the past decade, the two sides have carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation in the fields of industry-education integration, talent training, campus logistics intellectualization and public welfare practice. The college and enterprise have jointly built the first national demonstrative comprehensive training base for smart logistics terminals. While conducting practical teaching and cultivating interdisciplinary skilled talents, it has also enhanced students' sense of social responsibility in public welfare, writing a warm footnote to the effectiveness of practical education.
