The 2026 Faculty New Year Gala of the college was grandly held on the afternoon of December 25th.
At the gala, members of the college leaders delivered New Year wishes. They reviewed the fruitful achievements made by the college in teaching, scientific research, talent training and other fields over the past year, expressed sincere gratitude to all hardworking faculty members, diligent students, and people from all walks of life who have long cared for and supported the college's development, extended the most sincere New Year greetings, and encouraged everyone to work hand in hand for greater achievements in the new year.
The gala kicked off with the song and dance performance Joyfully Celebrate the New Year presented by the School of Accounting. The cheerful melody played the prelude to the Spring Festival, filling the entire venue with a strong festive atmosphere.
The song and dance performance QVTCHM Dedication Front Alliance brought by the functional departments of the Administration Building was unique. It integrated original lyrics into the music with the latest technical means, and the lyrics were ingeniously conceived and catchy.
The Hanfu show Splendid Chapter by the Basic Teaching Department was like a flowing classical scroll. The performers were dressed in various styles of traditional attire, making the audience feel as if they had traveled through a thousand years and experienced the unique charm of traditional clothing culture immersively.
The Dance Medley: Good Luck Arrives by the School of Arts pushed the gala atmosphere to a small climax. With exquisite dancing skills, the performers skillfully integrated a variety of popular dance elements, full of youthful vitality and fashion.
Salute by the School of Hotel Engineering was presented in an innovative form combining allegro songs and small chorus, eulogizing our development achievements and paying tribute to the hardworking faculty members and silently contributing workers; the small chorus We Are Marching on the Road aroused strong resonance among the on-site audience.
The lion dance performance Awakening Lion Greets the New Year by the teachers of the School of Culinary Arts vividly interpreted the agility and momentum of the awakening lion, which not only conveyed New Year wishes but also showed the spirit of the teachers of the School of Culinary Arts.
The dance performance Happy Cultural Tourism: Lucky Opening by the School of Culture & Tourism was full of creativity. The dancers were dressed in costumes with cultural and tourism characteristics, interpreting the theme of Happy Cultural Tourism with graceful and elegant dance moves, showing the vitality and charm of the cultural and tourism industry.
The song and dance medley My Country and Me · Time Dialogue by the School of Information Engineering and Technology had a profound connotation. It combined classic songs with modern dance, not only expressing infinite love and blessings for the motherland but also showing the youthful responsibility of all faculty members to keep up with the times and bravely take on their missions.
The original sketch Send You a Little Red Flower by the School of Business Administration took alumni participating in the college's 80th anniversary celebration as the main line, telling a series of interesting stories about graduated alumni returning to school. The life-like plot and humorous lines won bursts of laughter from the on-site audience.
The song and dance performance Stars Light the Way by the School of Hospitality Management was full of vitality, and the song conveyed hope and strength.
The dance Ascend Spring Mountain brought by the student and league teachers was highly artistically appealing, allowing the audience to feel the vitality and hope of spring while appreciating the dance.
The song and dance performance When We Meet Again in Twenty Years by the representatives of faculty members who have been employed for 20 years was full of warmth.
Finally, the gala came to an end with the joint performance of Unforgettable Tonight by all the cast and crew.
A lucky draw session was specially set up at the gala, pushing the on-site atmosphere to a climax. The entire gala was wonderful and full of climaxes, which not only showed the versatile side of the teachers, students and staff but also condensed the spiritual strength of the whole college to work with one heart and forge ahead steadily.
In the new year, the school will continue to uphold the original aspiration of educating people, maintain an upward fighting spirit, forge ahead bravely on the road of education and teaching, and write a new chapter of high-quality development of the college.
