Mr. Li Jun embarks on Culinary and Dietary Cultural Exchange Tour in France

To further strengthen the exchange and mutual learning of culinary skills and dietary cultures between China and France, a faculty member from the School of Culinary Arts of our institution, Mr. Li Jun, recently visited the École Supérieure de Cuisine de Périgueux in France for a series of culinary and dietary cultural exchange activities.

During the exchange program, Mr. Li hosted a themed event titled China-France Culinary Arts and Dietary Culture Exchange through diverse formats including theoretical lectures, hands-on training demonstrations and food tastings. He engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty, students and local catering professionals from the École Supérieure de Cuisine de Périgueux.

In the practical training session, Mr. Li showcased the preparation of classic Chinese dishes live. His exquisite knife skills, precise control of cooking heat, and the ability to transform ordinary ingredients into artistic culinary works with perfect color, aroma, taste and presentation sparked great interest among the audience.

Teachers from both institutions also held discussions on topics such as professional curriculum design, dietary cultural exchanges, and the integration and innovation of culinary techniques.

The École Supérieure de Cuisine de Périgueux spoke highly of this exchange program, and expressed its willingness to establish long-term cooperation with our college in areas such as faculty and student exchange visits, curriculum development and joint research projects.

This exchange activity has enhanced the visibility of our college in the field of international vocational education for catering. The college will further deepen cooperation with the École Supérieure de Cuisine de Périgueux, promote two-way exchanges between faculty members, and continuously elevate the school’s reputation and influence on the global stage.
