Two teams from the college’s Modern Logistics Management program claimed the First Prize and Second Prize respectively at the Digital Intelligent Supply Chain Track of Smart Supply Chain Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of the 17th Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival.
The 17th Shandong University Student Science and Technology Festival attracted extensive participation which is organized jointly by the Shandong Association for Science and Technology, Shandong Provincial Department of Education, etc.
The Digital Intelligent Supply Chain Operation Track saw 256 teams from 68 universities and vocational colleges across and beyond Shandong Province competing in the provincial finals.
Based on a virtual simulated supply chain business ecosystem, the track required participants to engage in practical confrontations focusing on core links such as big data analysis, procurement management, inventory optimization, and transportation scheduling. Teams were tasked with building collaborative supply chain networks to achieve risk control and efficiency improvement.
During the competition, our participants demonstrated solid professional competence and vocational literacy. They applied cutting-edge technologies including AI, big data, and digital twins to solve practical problems in supply chain operations, accurately formulated operational plans in the virtual simulation environment, and continuously presented innovative highlights in the plan design segment.
Taking this achievement as an opportunity, the School of Business Administration will promote the digital and intelligent transformation and upgrading of its programs, focus on the integration and collaborative development of supply chain management and smart logistics, advance the innovation and practice of smart logistics talent training, and support the high-quality development of regional industries with high-quality technical and skilled talents.
