The 12th Hismile Cup Football, Basketball and Volleyball Tournaments conclude successfully, which lasted for half a month, officially drew to a close on November 5th.
After multiple rounds of fierce competition, the School of Business Administration claimed the men’s basketball championship, the School of Accounting secured the women’s basketball title, the School of Information Engineering and Technology won the volleyball championship, and the School of Hotel Engineering triumphed in both the men’s and women’s 5-a-side football matches.
Co-hosted by the Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Basic Teaching Department, the tournaments attracted 40 representative teams, with a total of over 500 student participations. It fully demonstrated the spirit of unity, perseverance and striving for excellence among the young students of the college.
As a featured campus cultural activity held consecutively for 12 sessions, theHismile Cup has evolved into a key platform for enriching students’ after-school life, promoting sportsmanship, and facilitating inter-school communication. During the tournaments, the spectator atmosphere around the venues was vibrant, further fostering a campus culture of loving sports, enjoying athletics, and strengthening physical fitness.
The Committee of the Communist Youth League will take the Campus Science, Technology and Culture Art Festival as a major driver to continuously organize diverse and rich cultural and sports activities. It aims to expand the diversified platform for the second classroom, broaden channels for students’ comprehensive quality development, and support their growth and success.
