The college's 80th Anniversary & Freshman Welcome Gala was held in the gymnasium on October 28.
The Gala kicked off with the dynamic opening dance The Covenant of Mountains and Seas, and was divided into two parts: Inheriting the Past and Embarking on a New Journey. With rich program content, it skillfully integrated ideological and political elements, closely combining the enthusiasm of welcoming freshmen with the celebration atmosphere. Each school presented carefully choreographed programs focusing on core contents such as professional characteristics, exquisite craftsmanship, and etiquette; through various forms including songs, dances, recitations, audio-poetry-paintings, and situational plays, they sang the melody of youth with melodious voices and showed vigorous vitality with graceful dances.
A warm birthday celebration segment was specially set up in the Gala. College leaders presented gifts to freshmen who shared the same birthday with the college, and all teachers and students sang Happy Birthday together, pushing the atmosphere of the Gala to a climax.
Finally, the Gala came to an end with the passionate chorus Remain True to Our Original Aspiration. The sonorous and powerful melody and the sincere singing echoed in the night sky for a long time.
The Gala is not only a warm footnote to the 80th anniversary celebration, but also a growth prologue of the two-way commitment between freshmen and the college.
The freshmen will adhere to the school motto of Diligence, Sincerity, Intelligence, and Elegance, inherit the professional craftsmanship through integrating knowledge and practice, pursue their youth dreams in response to the call of the times, start a new life journey on this fertile soil of vocational education, and jointly create a brilliant chapter belonging to the youth of the new era.
