Recently, the Inaugural Conference of the China-South&Southeast Asia Vocational Education Alliance and the First China-South&Southeast Asia Vocational Education Cooperation Forum, hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, were held in Kunming.
The college was elected as a Vice Chairman Unit of the Alliance and is the only higher vocational college from Shandong Province to receive this honor.
More than 220 representatives from vocational colleges at home and abroad attended and exchanged ideas at this forum, covering countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Bangladesh.
Relying on the Alliance platform, the college will closely align with the construction goals and tasks of Shandong Province's Double High-Level Programs. It will focus on areas such as vocational education going global, standard mutual recognition, and teacher-student exchanges to further expand exchanges and cooperation in vocational education with countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia. The college will also actively explore new models of school-enterprise collaborative international cooperation and continuously enhance its international school-running level and influence.
