The college hosts the 8th Cross-Strait Shandong Cuisine Culture Training Course

The college held the 8th Cross-Strait Shandong Cuisine Culture Training Course with the theme of Inheriting Shandong Flavors and Sharing the Future from August 11th to 17th.

In his speech, President Jiang Yupeng pointed out that Shandong cuisine culture has a long history and is an important part of China's excellent traditional culture. This training course aims to build a platform for in-depth exchange and learning among students from both sides of the Strait. By teaching Shandong cuisine cooking techniques, it enables more compatriots from Taiwan to understand Shandong culture and feel the taste of their hometown. It is hoped that the students can improve their skills, enhance friendship and spread Shandong cuisine culture further during the training.

This training course focused on the teaching of representative dishes and pastries of Shandong cuisine, providing students with a 7-day systematic and professional training program.

The students expressed their hope to master the essence of Shandong cuisine preparation through learning, bring this unique food culture back to Taiwan province, share it with more people, promote the exchange and integration of food culture across the Strait, and deepen the emotional connection between compatriots on both sides of the Strait.

The college will rely on the advantages of its catering-related majors, continue to deepen cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation in fields such as food culture, constantly enhance mutual understanding and emotional identification between compatriots on both sides of the Strait, and contribute to promoting the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations.
