The School of Art held the 9th ‘Bo Yi Cup’ China-Korea Graduation Design Works Exhibition and 2025 Qingdao Cityscape Design Exchange Meeting in the hall of library on 26th June.
The graduation design works exhibition covers four major fields, namely interior design, advertising design, product design and digital media design, with more than 200 pieces of students' works selected, which comprehensively shows the art and design education and teaching achievements of the school and Silla University in South Korea and the practical ability of the integration of industry and education.
Diao Hongbin delivered a speech at the 2025 Qingdao Cityscape Design Exchange Meeting. He said that the college has always adhered to the international vision and the concept of industry-education collaborative education, this activity is not only a concentrated display of teaching achievements, but also an important hand in promoting the art and design profession to achieve high-quality development.
The college will further strengthen the academic cooperation with Silla University in Korea, link domestic industry associations and enterprise resources, and jointly explore the path of cultivating innovative technical and skilled talents.
Liu Hongying, member of the party group and vice-chairman of Qingdao Association of Science and Technology, said that Qingdao Association of Science and Technology, will continue to strengthen the support of international academic platforms and provide systematic guarantee for industry-university-research collaborative innovation.
Mao Jianhui, president of Qingdao Urban Landscape Society, reviewed the results of the co-operation between the Society and our college, and said that the Society will deeply integrate industry resources, expand student internship and employment channels, and help art and design education to serve the regional economic and social development.
During the same period of the event, the establishment ceremony of the ‘School-Enterprise’ Industry-Education Integration Alliance, the inauguration ceremony of Yuemei Handicraft Art Education Centre, and Professor Shui of Qingdao University Jin gave a themed lecture on Colourful Intangible Relics Blooming with Charming Glory.
This activity builds a platform for academic exchanges and industrial docking between the college and Silla University, injecting new momentum for deepening international education cooperation and promoting the upgrading of the integration of industry and education.
