The college holds the second campus first aid contest

The college holds the second campus first aid contest in the emergency rescue base on June 19, in order to further do a good job in school life education and continuously improve the campus emergency rescue ability.

With the theme of Youth Save Lives with Power, the contest focused on the assessment of CPR and the use of AED, and the results of the first aid training in this semester were centrally reviewed and brilliantly demonstrated, and 8 schools selected and recommended 29 players to participate in the contest.

The outstanding players in the contest will participate in the subsequent first aid training of the school as student mentors, giving full play to the advantages of peer education and forming a good culture of passing, guiding, helping and leading in the college.

From mid-March to mid-June, under the support and guidance of the Red Cross at the municipal and district levels, the school held a total of 25 emergency rescue skills training sessions, in which more than 800 teachers and students were certified as Red Cross rescuers and more than 1,600 teachers and students were certified in CPR+AED. More than 800 teachers and students have obtained the certificate of Red Cross paramedic, and more than 1,600 teachers and students have obtained the certificate of CPR+AED, which has effectively improved the emergency treatment ability of teachers and students.

With the support of education departments and Red Cross societies at all levels, the college will continue to improve the first-aid education system, promote the transformation of first-aid education from skill training to life education, and cultivate more young people with first-aid skills for the society.
