The results of the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) were released recently, and all three Ghanaian international students studying at the college passed the exam successfully.

Among them, two students who have been at the college for one and a half years passed HSK Level 4, while one student who has been here for one year passed HSK Level 3.

During the preparation period, our teachers developed scientific teaching strategies and learning plans based on the HSK syllabus and the students' individual situations. By organizing activities such as Chinese Cultural Experienceevents and participating in the Confucian Classics Multilingual Recitation Competition, the students were guided to appreciate the charm of Chinese culture and enhance their Chinese language proficiency. In class, the international students listened attentively and interacted actively. Outside of class, they practiced diligently, which ultimately led to their excellent results.

The Basic Teaching Department will continue to optimize Chinese language instruction for international students, aiming to further improve their Chinese proficiency and contribute to the high-quality development of international Chinese education.

About the HSK

As an internationally standardized Chinese language proficiency test, the HSK is designed to assess the Chinese language ability of non-native speakers. Following IELTS and TOEFL, it is now the third-largest language proficiency test globally and the most authoritative standardized test for evaluating the Chinese language skills of learners whose first language is not Chinese.
