Zhou Lin, President of Bates Technical College in the United States, and her delegation visited the college for exchange on May 8th.
Han Xiqing welcomed the revisit of Bates Technical College and hoped that based on mutual visits, the two schools would focus on their educational characteristics, achieve complementary advantages, deepen exchange achievements, and cultivate more international teachers and students.
Zhou Lin spoke highly of our school's educational characteristics and achievements, expressing the hope that the two schools would integrate high-quality educational resources, aim at discipline co-construction, and jointly explore new models for international talent cultivation.
The two sides held talks and consultations on jointly building China-US cooperative education programs for the Western Cuisine Technology major, the YES project, etc., and reached a consensus.
Taking this as an opportunity, the two schools will accelerate the implementation of cooperative projects and implement the matters in the signed cooperation memorandum.
During the visit, Zhou Lin and her delegation conducted on-site visits to the cooking training center and off-campus practice bases to learn about the construction of food and beverage-related majors and the development of industry-education integration.
This exchange helps accurately align cooperative majors, advance project implementation, and lay a foundation for follow-up in-depth cooperation.
