On 17th April, the spring recruitment fair of ‘Choose Shandong’ of the School of Hotel Hospitality was successfully held in the gym of the college.
A total of 271 enterprises applied for the job fair, with a total of 7,411 positions, and 160 high-quality enterprises were finally selected to participate in the fair, with 3,746 positions.
The job fair attracted recruiters including brand hotels such as Regency Shanghai on the Bund, head B&B brands represented by Luoxingu and Xipo. In addition, the state-owned hotels included Shandong Culture and Tourism Hotels Group, Qingdao Badaguan Hotel, etc., and social catering chain brands such as Xijiade.
The School of Hotel Hospitality has established a scientific, systematic and strict access mechanism for the participating units to access more high-quality enterprises based on the qualification of the enrolled enterprises, school-enterprise relationship, social reputation, corporate reputation, salary and benefits, development prospects and other influencing factors, so as to lay a solid foundation for the high-quality employment of graduates.
Prior to the job fair, activities such as employment-themed class meetings, career managers in the classroom, career planning guidance, alumni on campus, etc. were held to promote the common concern of college students and enterprises about employment.
The recruitment event built a bridge for employers and graduates to communicate face to face, which helped to broaden employment channels.
