The launch ceremony of the “Shandong Craftsmanship • Qingdao Gifts” Cultural and Creative Alliance was held at Qingdao Radio and Television Station on April 8. We were awarded a membership plaque as one of the first strategic partner colleges in the alliance.
As Qingdao's first cultural and creative ecosystem platform, the Alliance brings together dozens of leading enterprises including Tsingtao Brewery and Haier Group, over 300 intangible cultural heritage artisans, and 14 Qingdao-based universities.
The alliance aims to establish a dual-drive platform combining cultural inheritance and industrial innovation, propelling Qingdao's transition from a cultural renowned city to a cultural creative powerhouse. It seeks to offer Qingdao solutions for the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese culture, marking a new phase of ecologization, digitalization, and internationalization for Qingdao's cultural creative industry.
This membership represents our university's proactive engagement in serving local cultural industry development. The college will leverage the alliance platform to integrate intangible heritage preservation, handicraft development, and cultural tourism derivative creation. By harnessing the creativity and professional expertise of faculty and students, we will assist enterprises in developing culturally enriched and market-competitive products.
