Co-hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and undertaken by the college, the event attracted elite participants from seven institutions, including Qingdao Harbor Vocational and Technical College and Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College, fostering a platform for skill exchange and competition.
As a newly added World Skills Competition selection category, the event adopted the National Vocational Skill Standards for Intelligent Building Administrators (Level 3) as its evaluation framework. It featured four core modules:
1. Knowledge Assessment of Smart Security Systems
2. Transmission Cable Selection and Fabrication
3. Equipment Debugging and Maintenance
4. Professional Competency Evaluation
These modules comprehensively tested participants’ theoretical understanding, practical skills, and professional ethics. Throughout the competition, contestants demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency and meticulous craftsmanship, showcasing the tangible outcomes of vocational education in nurturing applied talents.
This event marked a significant practice in advancing the post-class-competition-certification integrated education mechanism and strengthening talent cultivation in the smart building sector.
Adhering to a green and economical philosophy, the competition ensured a secure, orderly environment and provided meticulous services, earning high praise from judges, instructors, and participants. It further elevated the college’s influence in vocational skills competitions, reinforcing its commitment to bridging education with industry demands.
