Shandong Finals of (Singepore)Brand Planning Event of 2025 China University Business Elite Challenge(CUBEC) were held from March 28th to 30th. A team of students from the School of Arts—Zhang Yang, Li Dongfang, Diao Xinning, Li Jianing, and Sun Luoxi—won the first prize.
The competition was jointly organized by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the China Chamber of International Commerce Commercial Industry Chamber, the China Commercial Culture Research Association, and the China Society of Commercial Economy. It was hosted by the Shandong Office of the CCPIT Commercial Industry Committee’s Education and Training Department.
The on-site evaluation criteria covered nine key components: corporate brand image, brand status analysis, brand positioning, brand element design, brand core value, brand communication and promotion, brand asset protection, risk management, and financial budgeting. The event emphasized students’ abilities to integrate theory with practice, collaborate effectively as a team, demonstrate market research and business insight, exhibit innovative thinking and creative expression, and uphold social responsibility and business ethics.
The team showcased the core competitiveness of interdisciplinary talent in the new era by developing a cross-disciplinary model that combines artistic design + business logic + technological innovation + social responsibility. This approach transformed design thinking into a driving force for brand growth. Prior to the competition, the team meticulously prepared by conducting multiple field research trips to a wellness town and securing corporate authorization. They also excelled in the online knowledge competition phase.
During the winter vacation, the team began drafting their wellness brand strategy proposal, refining their on-site presentation materials, and preparing for Q&A sessions to ensure readiness for the finals.
The college placed high importance on the competition, and various functional departments provided strong support, ensuring smooth progress in both preparation and participation.
This achievement highlights college’s commitment to fostering innovative, socially responsible, and interdisciplinary talent capable of addressing real-world challenges.
