The 2024 “Vibrant Youth League General Branch” Contest and student work brand construction project evaluation activities were held in the academic auditorium on December 12.
All schools closely focus on the fundamental task of establishing moral education, comprehensively sort out the work in 2024. The summary report is carried out from three links, including the work of the Youth League, the report of the student work brand construction, and the energetic show.
In the summarising and debriefing session, each school summarised and demonstrated innovative, exemplary and open work initiatives and achievements in terms of ideological and political leadership, comprehensive and strict governance of the league, grassroots organisation construction, voluntary service, innovation and entrepreneurship.
In the report of student work brand construction, focusing on the main line of ‘student-oriented, leading students, respecting students, caring for students, and serving students’, they reported in detail on the brand name, conceptual connotation, operation mechanism, implementation, response, and future planning.
In the energetic show, all the schools arranged a variety of programmes around the theme of ‘Future Craftsman's Heart Towards the Party, Skills to Achieve New Skills and Build New Merits’.
Zhao Wei, Director of Qingdao Youth League Municipal Committee, commented on this activity. He pointed out that the work of student groups should be youth-centred, meet diversified needs, and lead the direction of growth; moreover, it should be based on the strengths, and constantly create a new situation for the work of student groups.

In the selection of “Vibrant Youth League General Branch”, the School of Hotel Management, the School of Culinary Arts and the School of Information Engineering Technology were awarded“Vibrant Youth League General Branch”, while the School of Business Administration, the School of Hotel Engineering, the School of Culture and Tourism, the School of Arts and the School of Accounting were awarded “Cohesion Group Branch”.
