The 3rd Qingdao Secrecy Technology Skills Competition (College Track) was held in National (Qingdao) Secrecy Technology Industrial Park from December 4th to 6th. Under the guidance of Ms. Wan Xiaoyan from the School of Information Engineering Technology of the college, the team composed of Zhang Xingwen and Hao Wei, majoring in Information Security Technology Application, won the second prize of the group, and Zhang Xingwen won the first prize of the individual and the title of “Qingdao Rising Star of Skills”.
The competition was jointly organized by the CPC Qingdao Municipal Party Committee Bureau of Information and Secrecy and other three departments, with a total of 40 teams from across the city participating in the competition. The competition aimed to further study and publicize the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Preservation of State Secrets, enhance the awareness of state secret security, explore and cultivate talents in secrecy technology, and comprehensively test the players' ability to analyze and apply tools for various attacks.
During the competition, the students skillfully used Wireshark tools, check and kill tools, john tools and so on to compete, and finally achieved good results.The competition has improved the students' confidentiality technology level and teamwork ability.
The School of Information Engineering Technology will continuously improve the quality of training technical and skill-oriented talents.
