The 6th Student Congress was held in the academic lecture hall on 30th November, and vice president Gong Enlong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
Gong Enlong said that in the past year, student unions at all levels of the school have played an important role in serving students, voluntary service, campus culture, reform and innovation.
He hoped to build a good youth development ‘service ladder’, through the school service to the students of the ‘last kilometre’; build a “new position” to offer good service so that young people will rely on the school student organisations.
Wang Zhengqiang, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college, said that the Committee will always provide strong support, and guide the Student Union to perform the ideological leadership. The student union will fulfil the mission of ‘serving students wholeheartedly’ with practical actions.
Li Ao, a member of Student Union of class 2023, made a work report, reviewing and summarising the main achievements since the 5th Student Congress.
The General Assembly passed the work report of the 5th Student Union, the QVTCHM Student Union Statute (Amendment), and elected the 6th Student Union officers and committee members.
