The 1st council and work seminar of Industry-Teaching Integration Community of Modern Tourism Industry was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on 28th-29th November, and we were selected as the vice-chairman unit.
The establishment of the Community is jointly initiated by Zhejiang Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Gongshang University and Tourism College of Zhejiang.
122 representatives of enterprises ,colleges and universities participated in the meeting.
The Charter of Industry and Education Integration Community of Modern Tourism Industry was passed, and the appointment ceremony of the chairman, vice-chairman, director of the unit was held.
The conference also invited Professor Shi Weiping of East China Normal University make a speech on the topics of “Implementation Dilemma and Breakthrough Path from School-Enterprise Co-operation to Integration of Education and Industry”
Jin Hangyong, Vice President of Creation Tourism Group, lectured on “Talent Cultivation of Schools and Enterprises under the New Trend of Culture and Tourism”.
It is reported that the Community has innovated its organisational structure, and on the basis of setting up the Council, Expert Advisory Committee and Secretariat, it has set up four special committees under the Secretariat, namely, discipline group of hotel management and digital operation, discipline group of study tour management and service, discipline group of exhibition planning and management, and discipline group of smart wellness service and management, so as to further target and guide the industry's high-quality resources into professional talent cultivation.
The college will strengthen school-enterprise cooperation, deeply promote the integration of industry and education, science and education, continuously improve the professional level and teaching quality of teachers, and promote the effective convergence of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain and innovation chain.
