The 16th Shandong College Students‘ Science and Technology Festival came to an end recently, and our students won 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes and 6 third prizes at the 4th Shandong Province College Students’ Internet Plus Wellness Tourism Competition.
The 4th Shandong Province College Students’ Internet Plus Wellness Tourism Competition aims to build a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship of college students in our province, lead the majority of students to deeply implement the strategy of strengthening science and education and developing talents in Shandong province, and contribute to the construction of Chinese-style modernisation with innovation and entrepreneurship.
The competition has six tracks: wellness tourism route design, theme lodging business and operation, tourism new media operation, study tour, big data plus intelligent tourism, and medical science popularization of tourism safety.
The teams from nearly 100 colleges competed in a series of on-site theoretical knowledge tests, course design and on-site defence in Weihai and Qingdao through online preliminary rounds.
Our students demonstrated the college's schooling characteristics and parenting effectiveness in the field of vocational education with outstanding works, and finally got a good achievement.
The competition provided a platform for teachers and students to exchange professional experiences, skills and talent cultivation . The college will also contribute to vocational education for the province to build “Northern Wellness Tourism Centre”.
