The 3rd Shandong Digital Literacy Enhancement Skills Competition was held in Yantai on 23rd November, and the team of Han Xinyuan, Han Le and Ji Ruyi, students of Cultural Creativity and Planning in School of Culture and Tourism, won the first prize of the student group at Digital Literature and Tourism Creative Design Competition Digital Life Track, and Wang Tingting was awarded the Excellent Instructor.
The competition aims to cultivate excellent talents in the field of digital culture and tourism creative design in Shandong province, to show the application prospect of digital technology in the field of culture and tourism, and to promote the innovation and development of Shandong culture and tourism industry.
The competition focuses on the history and humanities of Shandong province, famous scenic spots and non-heritage characteristics of cultural tourism resources, the use of VR, AR and other cutting-edge technologies. The participants demonstrated on-site design and creation, professional explanation and talent.
With the historical culture and natural scenery of Yimeng Mountain as the background, our team cleverly integrated modern digital technology and used virtual reality to digitise the famous scenic spots, folk customs and other elements of the old revolutionary area, so as to make the tourists feel the unique charm of Shandong.
The award has injected a new impetus into the discipline construction and talent cultivation of cultural creativity and planning.
