The 2024 World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference opened in Tianjin on November 21.
Mr. Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Department of Education, presided over the opening ceremony and gave a keynote speech.
Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, was invited to participate in the conference and took part in the parallel session with the theme of “Practical Innovation of Professional Development of Vocational Education Teachers”.
Li Da made a report titled Create Highly Qualified and Professional ‘Craftsmen's Teachers’ with Educator's Spirit, introducing the college's typical experience and innovative practices in the professional development of vocational education teachers.
He said that in recent years, the college creates a high-quality professional “craftsman of the teacher” by closely following the national vocational education reform and development trend, vigorously carrying forward the spirit of educators, in-depth implementation of the “Strengthening the school with talent” strategy; firmly establishing the “To strengthen education, we must first strengthen teachers” concept, and promoting the construction of craftsmen systematically ; the introduction and training, and focusing on building a high-quality professional 'craftsmen's teacher'; strengthening incentives to ensure that the optimization of the development of the master craftsman environment.
It is reported that t the 2024 World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, the Chinese National Commission for UNESCO and the Tianjin Municipal Government. The theme of this conference is “innovation empowers the future, and skill shapes life”, which attracted more than 600 foreign guests from more than 100 countries and regions.
