The Assembly Building Constructor event of the 6th National Assembly Building Vocational Skills Competition was held in Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction Vocational College on 15-16 November, and Qiu Jing, a student of School of Hotel Engineering, won the first prize of Application of Intelligent Construction Technology.
312 competitors from undergraduates, vocational colleges and vocational schools from 15 provinces and cities across the country participted in the competition, which is guided by the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, sponsored by China Construction Education Association and China Employment Training Technical Guidance Centre.
The competition includes three events, namely “deepening design of components, production and installation of components, and application of intelligent construction technology”, which comprehensively examines the comprehensive application ability of students through diversified forms.
The competition aims to promote the digital transformation of the construction industry, accelerate the development of new productivity, and help the high-quality development of the construction industry.
The School of Hotel Engineering will continue to improve the professional skills of teachers and students, and help the training of intelligent construction talents and the integrated development of the construction industry.
