Li Jun won the gold medal and the school won the ‘Excellent Organisation Award’ in the Shandong Selection Match of the 3rd National Commercial Service Industry Vocational Skills Competition of Nutritional Meal Preparation Event recently.
The match was held in Linyi and hosted by Linyi Culinary Catering Service Industry Association and the School of Culinary Arts of Jinan University of Shandong province.
A total of more than 170 people from the universities, technical colleges and enterprises participated in the competition, aimed at promoting the discipline development of nutritional catering staff, healthy dieting culture, and forging a skilled, well-qualified and reasonably structured high-skilled talent team.
Teachers of the college achieved excellent results by combining with the requirements of the relevant documents of the tournament organising committee, carefully designing and polishing from the perspectives of colour matching, taste and texture, cooking skills, health and nutrition, etc.
The award is an important achievement of the school's “Double High-level Program” construction and “Double-qualification Teacher” team construction, which further improves the discipline recognition and industry influence of the school's catering faculty.
