The Board Meeting of Qingdao Boutique Tourism Municipal Industry-Education Consortium

The board meeting of Qingdao Tourism Municipal Industry-Education Consortium(QTMIEC) was held in the college on November 8.

Li Da said in his speech that relying on QTMIEC, which is a key carrier for promoting the integration of industry and education, the college will make concerted efforts with all parties to continuously improve the dialogue and communication platform and the mechanism for the integration of interests of multiple subjects, to create an innovative and materialized platform for the cultivation of talents in the boutique tourism industry, and to make contributions to the development of Qingdao's boutique tourism industry.

Yu Jie, party committee member and deputy director of Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley Administration, said in his speech that the establishment of QTMIEC is a milestone in promoting the high-quality development of the city's tourism industry. It is necessary to provide more application scenarios for the development of the consortium, to jointly explore the new mode of regional industry-education integration and synergistic development.

Sun Peichuan, the first grade researcher of Qingdao Culture and Tourism Bureau, said in his speech that QTMIEC has high tourism industry agglomeration and sufficient development momentum, and it can provide rich talent resources, industrial resources and innovation resources for the development of Qingdao Boutique Tourism.

Mr. Sun Peichuan conferred the plaques to the three president units, including Qingdao Ocean-tech Valley Management Bureau, the college, and  China Travel Service (Qingdao) Haiquan Bay Co.

Li Yunzhong, level-2 researcher of Vocational Education Department of Qingdao Municipal Education Bureau, and Zhang Zhaojing conferred plaques on 28 vice-president units, such as Qingdao Jimo Hot Springs Kirin Villa Ltd. and Qingdao Brewery Culture Communication Co.

At the meeting, Professor Lv Yong, deputy director of the Department of Intelligent Manufacturing, Jinan Vocational College, gave a lecture on Construction of the Jinan City Intelligent Manufacturing and High-end Equipment Industry and Teaching Consortium - Enabling Intelligent Manufacturing Industry to Improve and Upgrade,

Professor Liu Jia, deputy director of the Department of Tourism, School of Management, Ocean University of China, delivered a lecture on Digital Technology and the High-Quality Development of Culture and Tourism.

The board meeting aims to strengthen the in-depth interaction between schools and enterprises, research institutions and sister institutions, build a dialogue and exchange platform for multiple subjects and a mechanism for the intermingling of interests, and promote the all-round integration of schools and enterprises in terms of docking of specialization settings with industrial demands, teaching content with vocational standards, teaching practice with production processes, and graduation certificates with certificates of vocational skills.
