The final of the 4th Shandong College Student Internet Plus Recreation Tourism Competition (Study Tour Track) was successfully held in the college on November 2-3.
This competition is one of the activities of the 16th Shandong Student Science and Technology Festival jointly organized by Shandong Science and Technology Association, Shandong Provincial Department of Education and other departments, aiming to deeply implement the science and education to strengthen Shandong, to promote the province's high-quality tourism industry, medical and health care industry multi-industry fusion development, and to empower the province's research and study tourism industry high-quality technology and skilled personnel training.
Study Tour Track is the first track opened since the establishment of Shandong College Students Internet Plus Recreation Tourism Competition, which is divided into the preliminary and final rounds. After the selection of the preliminary round, a total of 65 teams from 37 colleges and universities inside and outside the province, more than 261 players entered the final round. The final consists of three parts: theoretical knowledge test, course design and on-site defense, covering the core skills and professionalism necessary for research and study tourism instructors.
The success of this competition is another landmark achievement of the school's study tour management and service program after winning the gold medal in the “Tourism Track-Study Tour Group” of the 2024 World Vocational College Skills Competition Finals.
We’ll continue to improve the quality of study tour personnel training, and help Shandong study tour brand connotation construction.
