The inaugural meeting of the Digital Campus Construction Committee and the seminar on Digital Campus Construction for Vocational Education were held on September 28-29 in Qingdao.
Mr. Li Da, Chairman of Digital Campus Construction Committee, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the college, introducing the overall situation of the college and its digital transformation practices. He said that the establishment of the Digital Campus Construction Committee is of great significance for the province to promote the construction of modern vocational education system and the empowerment of vocational education for new productivity.
As the chairman of Digital Campus Construction Committee, the college will build a platform for cooperation among government, industry, enterprises and schools, study hot issues in the field of digitalization of vocational education, and actively promote the improvement of digital campuses of vocational colleges and universities in the province.
Mr. Zhu Chuanzang, Secretary General of Shandong Society of Vocational and Technical Education, congratulated the establishment of the Digital Campus Construction Committee and its elected members, and put forward his hopes and requirements for the construction, development and management of the committee.
The meeting also carried out the awarding ceremony of the director unit and the appointment certificates of the deputy director and member representatives.
In the seminar session, Chen Jian, Director of Education Information Center of the college, made a typical experience sharing.
The meeting was hosted by Shandong Vocational and Technical Education Society and organized by Digital Campus Construction Working Committee of Shandong Vocational and Technical Education Society, with the college as the director member of the committee and Zhengfang Software Company Limited and Youmucun Online Education Technology (Beijing) Co.
The Digital Campus Construction Committee of Shandong Vocational and Technical Education Society is a branch of the Society, consisting of one director, seven vice-directors and 103 members. More than 100 people, including vice-chairmen and members of the committee and representatives of related vocational schools and colleges, attended the meeting.
