The inauguration ceremony of the school's Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training Base was successfully held in the Academic Lecture Hall on 19 September.

Jiang Yupeng said in his speech that the completion of the emergency rescue base is a solid step forward for the school in the field of safety education and emergency rescue, marking a new milestone for the school's emergency rescue work.

On behalf of the Municipal Red Cross, Han Libin, Vice President of Qingdao Red Cross Society, conferred the licence on the base. He fully affirmed the effectiveness of the school's emergency rescue education and emphasised the significance of carrying out emergency rescue, disaster prevention, risk avoidance, and hygiene and health knowledge propaganda.

At the ceremony, Gong Enlong awarded the appointment certificates of external instructors to Gao Yurui and Shen Xiaofang, experts of Qingdao Red Cross Search and Rescue Team, and Yu Honggang reported the emergency rescue work on behalf of the school.

The school's Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training Base is based on the flight attendant training base, which can undertake on-campus emergency rescue training, Red Cross rescuer training, and CPR+AED certificate certification assessment work.

The base covers an area of nearly 500 square metres, with 6 training classrooms, and is equipped with CPR simulators, AED training machines, and models of airway obstruction for adults and children. At present, the teaching faculty of the base consists of 9 relevant personnel, including 2 experts from Qingdao Red Cross Search and Rescue Team, 3 Red Cross ambulance teachers, 2 front-line teachers and 2 clinical medical personnel.

The completion of the emergency ambulance training base provides the school with a more professional and standardised emergency ambulance training platform.

Next, the college will continue to expand the areas and projects of cooperation with the Municipal Red Cross, strengthen the work of emergency ambulance publicity and education, improve the training level and service quality of the base, and contribute to the construction of a safe campus
