The 9th National Culinary Skills Competition (Shandong Region) was held in Weifang from September 11th to 12th, and Mr. Ren Chuan Sheng won the gold medal of Chinese Cooking event.
161 players participated in the Chinese cooking and Chinese pastry competitions. In the Chinese cooking competition, Combined with related documents requirements of the event organizing committee, Mr. Ren selected Qingdao regional characteristics of raw materials, made two dishes, Steamed Chicken Shaped Peanuts and Peonies &Fried Fresh Shrimps.
It is reported that the national culinary skills competition known as Chinese food industry “Olympics”, is held every five years. It is China's catering industry's largest and most authoritative professional events.
