The 1st National Conference on the Development of Industry-Education Integration (the Community) in Modern Lodging Industry and 2024 Huazhou School-Enterprise Cooperation Conference were held in Shanghai on August 8 under the guidance of China Hotel Association, and co-sponsored by Huazhou Group, Jinan University, and the college.
In his speech, Li Da said that the college will rely on the Community to strengthen mechanism exploration and promote practice innovation in multiple dimensions.
First, in the scope of coverage, focusing on the industry's organisational subcategories and service orientation.
Second, in the institutional mechanism, to strengthen the equal participation of multiple parties and joint decision-making.
Third, in the integration of industry and education, deepening the two areas of education to promote the industry and industry to help the education.
Fourth, in the innovation and leadership, highlighting the support and guidance to high-level universities and connotation-driven.
Liu Yiguo, Director of Teaching Materials Division of Vocational Education Development Centre of the Ministry of Education, Zhang Jingfu, Vice President of China Hotel Association, Zhang Weifeng, Chief Talent Officer of Huazhou Group, and Li Zhou, Vice President of Jinan University Shenzhen Campus, made important speeches to emphasize that the Community should play a practical role in strengthening the construction of teachers and teaching resources to carry out diversified co-operation in the areas of industry-education integration, joint talent cultivation, innovation in the mode of education and digital change to achieve a win-win situation.
The conference is divided into three modules, namely, ‘integration of industry and education’, ‘a better future,’ and the development of the General Assembly Forum, focusing on of three themes of the development of the Community, Huazhou Group school-enterprise co-operation, and the industry's new quality of talent cultivation to carry out industry and education docking and exchange activities.
At the preparatory meeting of the conference, the constitution of the Community and the list of vice-president units were adopted, and vice president Zhang Zongguo read out the list.
In addition, the conference also held a series of activities such as task allocation, case sharing, roundtable forum, book release, signing of teaching materials co-construction and awarding of plaques.
