The Unveiling Ceremony of the Bronze Statue of Mr Wang Fuchang

The college held a ceremony to unveil the bronze statue of Mr. Wang Fuchang and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the opening of Chinese and Western Pastry Craft on June 21st .

Lv Zhongxing, alumnus of Class 1984 and Chairman of Qingdao Lv's Catering Culture Management Co., Ltd, Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, and Jiang Yupeng, President of the college, attended the ceremony.

On behalf of the college, Li Da expressed a warm welcome to all the guests and expressed his heartfelt thanks to alumnus Lv Zhongxing for his donating the bronze statue who is alumnus of Class 1984 and Chairman of Qingdao Lv's Catering Culture Management Co., Ltd.

As the founder of the college's pastry profession Mr. Wang Fuchang has been dedicated to pastry skills inheritance and innovation for forty years, and has made an important contribution to the development of the college catering specialty construction.

Li Da hopes that the teachers and students will carry forward the fine traditions of Mr. Wang Fuchang, and strive to study culinary skills to achieve excellence, in order to cultivate more high-quality skilled talents to make greater contribution.

Li Da, Jiang Yupeng, Lv Zhongxing and Chinese culinary master Wang Zhencai unveiled the bronze statue of Mr. Wang Fuchang.

In his speech, Lv Zhongxing expressed his gratitude to his alma mater and Mr. Wang Fuchang for his diligent cultivation. Some retired teachers and young teachers of the School of Culinary Arts presented flowers to the bronze statue. The students recited the oath of Culinary Craftsman of the New Era.

The School of Culinary Arts will deepen the series of thematic activities of Taste and Flavour - Educator's Spirit to strengthen the spiritual foundation of specialty construction, inherit and cultivate the spirit of craftsmen, guide the teachers and students to learn from the wise.
