From October 12 to 15, the Restaurant Service Final of the 9th National Hotel Industry Vocational Skills Competition was held in Qingdao, which was jointly organized by China Hotel Association, China Employment Training and Technical Guidance Center, and the National Committee of China Federation of Trade Unions of Finance, Trade, Textile and Tobacco.
Guo Guirong, a teacher of the School of Hotel Management, participated in the competition and won the gold medal of Restaurant Service Event.
The competition focuses on testing the participants' professional theoretical knowledge, practical skills, expression and defense ability, and is divided into five modules: theory test, theme program design and defense, theme banquet table setting, catering service skills, napkin folding and booth design.
This achievement is another landmark result of the college's Double High-level Programs construction. Next step, the School of Hotel Management will take this opportunity to promote the construction of double-qualification teacher faculty.
