The school held the freshmen's military training commendation meeting in the stadium to test and commend the achievements of military training on September 15.
The meeting was opened in the sound of the majestic national anthem. The head of the military training corps presided over the assembly drill, and the formation movements, fighting fundamentals, one-man tactics, and light weapons shooting were presented in turn, and the students walked with a resounding stride and high morale, demonstrating the fruitful results of the military training.
On behalf of the college, Li Da, Party secretary of the college, express his heartfelt thanks and warm congratulations to the successful completion of military training of 5,380 students. He said that the military training is a lively, far-reaching national defense education class, and the students have transcended themselves, challenged the limit, cultivated the quality, enhanced the feelings, and improved themselves.
President Jiang Yupeng presented a banner to the leader of the training unit, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the hard work of the instructors.
Han Xiqing, deputy secretary of the party committee, read out the list of commendations for military training, and the leaders presented awards to the representatives of the commended units.
Cui Xingzheng, the representative of the military training students, made a speech, saying that they would bear in mind the school motto of diligence, sincerity, smartness and elegance, and resolutely pursue the ideal of lighting up life with skills, so that their youth would shine brightly on the way of serving the country with their skills.
