Vice Presidents Paul and Richard, along with chef teachers Vincent and Catherine , from Institut du Tourisme & d'Hôtellerie du Québec(ITHQ) of Canada, came to our school for an exchange visit on the afternoon of June 26th.
Li Da warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the school's distinctive features, as well as the basic situation of international exchanges and cooperation. He reviewed the previous achievements of cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. He expressed the hope that based on friendly cooperation and relying on the advantages of respective specialties, the two sides can strengthen exchanges in various aspects such as Sino-foreign cooperative education and teacher visits, with a focus on culinary exchanges. The goal is to gradually carry out practical and effective cooperation that is demand-oriented, quality-driven, and characterized by mutual benefits.
Richard expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from the school and provided an introduction to the basic situation of ITHQ, including the teaching situation and cooperative intentions. Since the mutual visits in 2019, the two schools have established a deep friendship. He hoped that the exchange visit could serve as an opportunity for both schools to jointly promote the in-depth development of cooperative education projects.
Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the Sino-foreign cooperative education project in Western culinary specialties and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
In the next step, the two schools will continue to expand their areas of cooperation and achieve mutually beneficial development at a higher level.
