The 13th National Tourism College Service Skills Competition(Hotel Service) has come to an end

The 13th National College  Service Skills (Hotel Service) Competition hosted by our college successfully concluded all events on May 14th.

Zhu Chengqiang, the presiding judge of the competition and the dean of the School of Management at Shanghai Sanda University, presided over the review meeting. The team leaders of Chinese banquet table-setting, Western banquet table-setting, housekeeping service, cocktail preparation, English proficiency testing, and other aspects, sharing various achievements of the competition.

Professor Jiang Yupeng, Vice President of the Tourism Education Branch of the China Tourism Association and President of our college, summarized the competition. He stated that the Service Skills Competition, as a system and model innovation to deepen the reform of tourism education and teaching in China, has effectively promoted the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, promoted talent cultivation to adapt to industry development, enhanced the influence and attractiveness of tourism education, and provided a broad stage for young students to become skilled.

Jiang Lingling, Vice President of the college, presided over the closing ceremony. Zhu Chengqiang read out the results of the competition and other experts awarded first prize for cocktail preparation in undergraduate, vocational and technical college, and vocational school groups, first prize for Western banquet table-setting, first prize for Chinese banquet table-setting, first prize for Chinese bedding, as well as awards such as undergraduate group award, vocational and technical college group award, vocational school group award, and outstanding contribution award.

At the closing ceremony, the school specially prepared exciting programs and a series of unique classic cuisine, expressing their love for the development of tourism education by showcasing the beauty of Qingdao's mountains and seas.
