From April 27th to 28th, the 16th Sports Meeting of the college was held at the sports stadium, where school leaders, all teachers, and students, as well as retired staff, shared the joy of sports.
At the opening ceremony, accompanied by the Athlete March, each team walked through the podium one by one and received a review. Amidst the solemn national anthem, all people stood up and wacthed the five-star red flag slowly rise in the stadium.
Li Da, Secretary of the Party committee, said at the opening ceremony that the school always attaches importance to sports work, regards sports as the basic project to realize the fundamental task of moral cultivation and improve the comprehensive quality of students, pays attention to cultivating students' patriotism, collectivism, socialist spirit and the will to work hard and forge ahead, and realizes the unique function of sports intelligence and sports spirit.
The group gymnastics performance fully demonstrates the positive and energetic spirit of young students.
On the field, athletes practice the sportsmanship of faster, higher, and stronger with their tenacious and hardworking performance; Off the field, students and teachers cheer on the athletes in their own way.
At the closing ceremony, the presiding judge of the sports meeting, Xia Fei, announced the total score of each team. The School of Business Administration, School of Hotel Engineering, and School of Hotel Management ranked among the top three in the total score of the student team, while the School of Business Administration, School of Maxism and Basic, and School of Accounting ranked among the top three in the total score of the teacher team.
Jiang Lingling, Vice President and Trade Union Chairman, announced the list of schools that have won the Spiritual Civilization Award. The School of Hotel Engineering, School of Culinary Arts, and School of Business Administration have won the Spiritual Civilization Award of Student Group, while the School of Accounting, School of Business Administration, and School of Arts have won the Spiritual Civilization Award of Teacher Group.
Han Xiqing, Vice Secretary of the Party committee, delivered a speech at the closing ceremony and announced the closure of the sports meeting. He warmly congratulated the groups and individuals who have achieved outstanding results, as well as the schools that have won the Spiritual Civilization Award.
It is understood that nearly 1300 people participated in more than 40 events at this sports meeting, and over 700 people won individual and collective awards, achieving new sports results.
