The Customs Skills event of 2022 National Competition for Skills of Vocational Education was held in Xiamen City University on November 7-8.
A total of 48 teams from all provinces (cities) and autonomous regions in China were shortlisted for the national championship. The delegation consisting of Yu Xiao, Cao Xinyu and Fu Yuan from the Customs Declaration and International Freight of class 2020 won the third prize.
Customs Skills is a professional competition with the highest level of skills based on the latest standards of the benchmarking profession and the highest benchmark in the industry, focusing on five modules of knowledge preparation before customs clearance, import and export commodity classification, customs declaration form filling, customs declaration document quality control, and customs operation scheme design.
The event aims to comprehensively test the professional ethics, professional quality, technical skill level, and innovation and entrepreneurship ability of all participating institutions and competitors.
In recent years, the modern business logistics specialty group has actively served the needs of national and local major strategies and key industries for high-quality technical and skilled talents, and has made efforts to improve the construction level of various talent training systems and mechanisms.
In the next step, the college will further improve the promotion of education and learning through competition, deepen the reform of education and teaching, and cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents urgently needed by the industry.
