The School of Hotel Engineering held the unveiling of the Hotel Building Information Model (BIM) Studio and the appointment ceremony of modern apprenticeship tutors on November 3.
Zhang Zongguo said in his speech that the Hotel Building Information Model (BIM) Studio is a positive practice of the college to deepen teaching reform and connotation development, and help the digital transformation of the hotel construction industry. To comprehensively promote the modern apprenticeship system is an important measure to improve the school-enterprise cooperation education mechanism and innovate the training mode of technical talents. He hoped that both sides would strengthen cooperation and exchange, deepen the integration of industry and education, and promote the docking of specialty and industry to realize the integration of school and enterprise.
At the ceremony, Zhang Zongguo and Zhang Yong, vice president of the School of Hotel Engineering jointly unveiled the Hotel Building Information Model (BIM) Studio; Zhang Zongguo issued the letter of appointment to Song Qiang, the head of the studio; Yu Jinliang, director of the Office of Academic Affairs, issued letters of appointment for enterprise tutors and school tutors.
Liu Tianyu, an enterprise tutor and BIM manager of the Fourth Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau, introduced matters related to school-enterprise cooperation education, and Song Qiang introduced the basic situation of the studio.
At the same time, the 2022 Modern Apprenticeship ceremony for architectural engineering technology was held.
Hotel Building Information Model (BIM) Studio is built by relying on the Shandong Province vocational education teachers' skills inheritance and innovation platform. Aiming at the innovation of hotel BIM skills, the studio, together with the Greater China Association of Hotel Engineers, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, the Fourth Construction Co., Ltd. of China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau and so on, carried out the standard formulation of hotel BIM technology application, the development of practical training resources, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and the inheritance of modern apprenticeship skills.
