The college wins the second prize in the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technological Innovation Competition



The team composed of Hu Jingzhi, Liu Qiyun, Liu Kunxiao and Sun Chenfei won the second prize in the national final of the 1st Smart Finance and Tax Event of the Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technological Innovation Competition (Higher Vocational Group). The college won the Excellent Organization Award, and Li Zhen and Liu Kai, the instructors of the Accounting School, won the title of Excellent Instructor.

The Belt & Road and BRICS Skills Development & Technological Innovation Competition is an international competition recognized by the Preparatory Committee for the 2017 BRICS Summit, recorded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and approved by the BRICS Business Council.

The 1st Smart Finance and Tax Event is divided into three stages: business ticket finance and taxation and robot application skills, tax service and big data application skills, and financial management and big data application skills. To comprehensively examine the contestants' practical ability to solve financial and taxation problems by using new information technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence, as well as their financial and taxation professional judgment ability in the new technology and business environment.

During the preparation, the teaching team of the School of Accounting formulated a detailed plan to provide comprehensive guidance to students in terms of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and psychology of the competition.

This competition is the latest achievement of the smart finance specialty group in adjusting professional settings, innovating talent training programs, and digitally upgrading the curriculum system.
