Recently, in the national finals of the Convention and Exhibition Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Competition of the 2021 CUBEC (the 15th Session), the two teams majoring in Convention and Exhibition Planning and Management of the School of Culture and Tourism won the first and second prizes respectively.
The competition was jointly organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT), CCPIT Commercial Chamber of Commerce, China Chamber of International Commerce, China Convention and Exhibition Society, and the Commerce Economy Association. There were 455 teams from 166 universities in 28 provinces, cities and autonomous regions. More than 2800 contestants and tutors were shortlisted for the national finals.
The competition is divided into three stages: online knowledge test stage, preliminary stage (writing planning and research scheme) and finals stage (video display scheme + online video defense). With solid professional skills, the participating teams of the college presented excellent works with creativity and practicality.
Finally, the works Internet New Business Ecological Exhibition and China International Short Video Creative Culture Festival made by students of Class 2020 won the first and second prizes respectively.
The competition fully demonstrated the talent training achievements of exhibition planning and management, and improved the students' professional skills and practical ability.
