The opening ceremony of 2021 Qingdao Marine Study Tourism Design Competition was held in the conference room of the Administrative Building on the afternoon of November 23. Qi Jing, director of the Industrial Development Department of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, and Zhang Zongguo, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Zhang Zongguo delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the college. He said that the holding of Qingdao Marine Study Tourism Design Competition is not only to implement the national, provincial and municipal strategic deployment of Managing the Ocean, but also a specific measure to promote the high-quality development of marine tourism, accelerate the quality improvement and upgrading of marine research tourism, help build an international coastal tourism destination and promote the high-quality development of marine study tourism in our city.
Qi Jing said that the competition and supporting professional lectures focus on the advantages of Qingdao marine study tourism resources, can effectively complement the shortcomings of courses and contents of industrial development, stimulate the innovation vitality of research institutions and promote the development of marine study tourism industry.
The competition is divided into two parts: study course design and route design. A total of 314 works from 140 teams from study tourism bases (camps), travel agencies, scenic spots, museums and colleges will be received. Finally, 47 excellent works will be selected to enter the roadshow. The contestants entering the roadshow will have the opportunity to have a wonderful online display and live broadcast on the network platform. At the same time, some excellent works will be compiled into volumes for the publicity and promotion of marine study tourism in Qingdao.
